Meet The Advisor

Leonard “Lenny” Martin, ChFC®, CLU®
President
Leonard “Lenny” Martin, ChFC®, CLU® has been in the estate planning and financial services industry since 1974. He serves clients in the states of RI, MA, CT, and FL. He is the founder and CEO of Leonard Martin & Associates Inc., a firm dedicated to serving and educating people on financial planning for their future.
Lenny is a former board member of the RI Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He is a member of the RI Society of Financial Service Professionals and board member of the Bristol Community College Alumni Association in Fall River, MA. He served as the state chairman for the RI political action committee for consumers and advisors. Lenny has sat on several charitable boards and committees, including Special Olympics and RI Children’s Crusade. After extensive training in Nashville, TN, Lenny has learned ways to maximize benefits dealing with Social Security planning.
Lenny is a multiple Five Star Wealth Manager and was featured in Rhode Island Monthly. Lenny is also a Registered Investment Advisor Representative and is a Chartered Financial Consultant and a Certified Life Underwriter from the American College.
Lenny’s firm specializes in estate planning for all sizes of estates, large and small. He helps his clients to avoid paying unnecessary taxes such as Income Taxes, Social Security, and Estate Taxes. Avoiding probate and increasing spendable income is another important part of his practice. And finally, helping seniors avoid Medicaid Spend Down of their assets when nursing home care is needed is a critical aspect of Lenny’s expertise.
Lenny is married to his wife Pam, and has four children and two step children along with two granddaughters. His office is conveniently located in Warwick, RI. He attributes his success to relationships, staff, focus, and passion. He believes some people leave their financial advisors not because of lack of returns, but because of a lack of relationships. His business and personal life reflect his core belief that success comes from the five F’s: Family, Finances, Fitness, Faith, and Fun.
